Quirino Avenue: Useless Sign?

On North-bound Quirino Avenue stands a useless sign

Here’s a rant post before the Pandacan Day entry…. Useless sign on Quirino Avenue. You can see this if you’re travelling North-bound, it’s near the bridge bordering Pandacan and Paco.

Why did they have to install this behind a tree? Mahirap basahin, and delikado naman mag-slow-down dahil high-way ito. Oh, there’s one more useless sign on the other side, giving the same directions, also behind the trees.

So what do we have to do? Cut the trees? Uninstall the sign and move it to a more visible location? I’m PRO-Green all the way (kahit maka-Lakers ako :P ) so I will not murder trees for some silly mistakes.

You might say: “okay lang may malaking sign naman across the highway.” (see top photo). Correct, and that makes these little signs even more useless.

I hope next time, officials plan carefully before implementing things and wasting money.
