This is for Pandaqueños who are now living abroad. The video above (sorry, I’m not expert in making videos) shows the awesome bright lights of Nagtahan bridge going to Pandacan. This is the route from Sta. Mesa/Quezon City/Sampaloc going to our town.
The lights were installed – if I’m not mistaken – late last year. Watch the clip and pay attention to the railings of the bridge, the lights will change their colors!
Want to know what’s next when you reach the foot of the bridge?
A.) If you go straight ahead is Quirino Avenue going South. On the left, you’ll find the famous J. Zamora Elementary School. On the right-side you’ll see YGIEA Medical Center, then Iglesia ni Cristo Church just across the Trophy. Straight ahead: Paco, Taft, Roxas Boulevard.

B.) From Nagtahan, if you turn left, you’ll see the Caritas Manila on the right, just across Residencias de Manila. About a few blocks: Sto. Nino de Pandacan Church on the left, just across the Romualdez Mansion. Further, you’ll find the Liwasang Balagtas.
C.) From Nagtahan, if you turn right, you’re headed to Malayan High School of Science (right side), and a long series of car dealership. Bordering Pandacan and Paco, you won’t miss Robinson Otis, which we questioned before if it’s the first mall in Pandacan.

the lights along nagtahan were actually re-installed from previous mayor’s project. for a while it was dark at night along nagtahan bridge before they re-installed electrical cables, repair the lighting fixtures and repair the road.
i notice near the end of the bridge (both sides – pandacan and sampaloc), there are poles with blinking lights. i am not sure but it seems solar panels to me. i am assuming the nagtahan bridge lights are powered by these solar panels, cool!
