Happy 1st birthday, Pandacan1011.com!
This blog was first conceptualized a long time ago, but the idea materialized just last year with the help of close friends who share the same vision and objectives.
The site started at pandacan.wordpress.com (site still exists), and the first retroactive entry was dated June 01, 2008. The regular posting began weeks later. The first commenter outside our circle was Simon Makabayan. The domain name was purchased months later and the rest is history.
Statistics and Numbers
Right now, we have 181 posts (including this entry) and 806 comments. Parang kahapon lang yung 100th post natin. :P
If you’re wondering about the number of visitors we receive on a monthly basis, please click on the photo above. Stats tools were first installed mid-December last year.
Quick numbers: we get a few thousands of pageviews monthly, half of those are from unique visitors from across the globe. Not bad.
By looking at the graph above, you’ll notice that January and May invited the most hits this year. Conclusion: We get more traffic when there’s an upcoming Pandacan event like Fiesta, Buling-buling, and Pandacan Day.
Future
Unlike any other community sites, we plan to continue 1011 for as long as we can. Despite that staff’s busy schedule (we write post during our free time), we make it sure that Pandacan1011.com is up-to-date with the latest news, events, and other relevant information. There is still room for improvements, though. There might be changes in the theme for more categorized browsing. So if you see any errors, dead links, and the like, please let us know via email (pandacan1011@gmail.com or info@pandacan1011.com).
Appreciation
We would like to thank all loyal readers and visitors of this site. Without you, it would be extremely difficult to be inspired and motivated to run a community site like 1011. Having said that, we’d really appreciate it if you continue to provide us news information, share photos of activities, or give us a heads up of upcoming events. The staff can’t do it alone; and we need your help to keep this site running and up-to-date.
Remember, this site is for all Pandacan residents — here and abroad. Kahit ano po ang relihiyon, opinyon, or paniniwala niyo sa buhay, ipahayag nyo lang po ang inyong damdamin, either sa shoutbox, comments section, or forum and let’s have a lively, respectful, and educational discussion.
Again, many thanks to all of you, huwag po sana kayong magsawa sa pagsuporta. ;)
Mabuhay po tayong lahat na taga-Pandacan!
