phil-ind-dayWhile waiting for some Pandacan Day pics (please send some pics!), here’s a quick reminder about Philippine Independence Day this coming Friday, June 12: It’s a non-working holiday, so wala pong pasok ang lahat. No school ang mga bata.

While many people consider this as a “free day” or “rest day”, let us not forget the true meaning of this holiday: OUR FREEDOM from the Spaniards. Ilang rebolusyon ba ang ating ginawa upang mapaalis dito ang mga mapang-aping dayuhan?

So ilabas po natin ang mga watawat at i-display sa labas ng bahay upang magbigay pugay at respeto sa ating pagkakaisa at pagiging malaya.
