In preparation for the coming of the Lord, The New Covenant Prayer Community had its annual two day Advent Retreat at OASIS OF PRAYER, Silang, Cavite.
The Retreat Master has explained the meaning of Advent and Christmas in three sessions through some biblical passages in which he later relate to our name “New Covenant Prayer Community.”

Each of the 56 members of the community who joined the said annual retreat had a fruitful spiritual exercise such as personal reflections and bi-sharing in the nature friendly retreat house. We also had our fellowship and bonding moments for better relationship with each other.

Buling-Buling festival is just five (5) weeks away. But one group in Obesis, Pandacan had a small parade similar to Buling-Buling. May ati-atihan, “mini-arko”, and costumes rin ang mga nagpaparada.
The group’s name is called “Los Barrios Obesis“, but I don’t know much about them. Maybe Miyong can tell us more information since some of his relatives are members of this group.
Check out the pictures taken by Andres, baka may kakilala kayo. :p

Weather: Dec 08-12, 2008
Seems to me like it’s going to be cloudy for the rest of December. The constant forecast is “cloudy”, combined with “windy” or “isolated showers”. Umulan ba last week sa Pandacan?

Extended Weather Outlook (Dec. 08, 09, 10, 11, 12)
Hopefully, wag sana umulan during Simbang-Gabi. Laging puno sa Bayan. The last Misa de Gallo I had been to, nasa patio na lang ako, wala akong marinig sa misa.
Anyway, for full weather forecast, read the rest…
